Delivery times
Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 - 7 days, and for international deliveries within 7 - 10 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.
If you pick up the goods yourself, we will inform you by email about the availability of the goods and the collection options. In this case, no shipping costs will be charged.

From the factory, this engine struggles with an undersized oil pump, fragile cylinder liners, and shifting bearing seats. This is exactly where MIK Motoren comes in: with targeted upgrades, it not only restores the original condition, but sustainably surpasses it. The rebuilt M157.982 runs quieter, lasts longer, and is designed for sporty drivers over the long term.
MIK upgrades — why this engine lasts longer
In addition to fully renewing all wear parts, every M157.982 from MIK also receives engine-specific upgrades that permanently eliminate known weak points:
- Upgraded oil pump — The most critical weak point of the M157.982 is the standard oil pump, which delivers too little oil pressure across all speed ranges. The result is warning messages, rattling noises, and engine damage. MIK uses a specially developed high-performance oil pump that reliably increases oil pressure at every engine speed.
- Bearing tunnel alignment — As mileage increases, the crankshaft bearing seats in the aluminum engine block shift. Perfect alignment can no longer be guaranteed. MIK hones the main bearing tunnel and secures it with hardened shims — an essential step that prevents another engine failure.
- High-quality bearing shells — All components are measured precisely, and the bearing play is adjusted for lifetime and performance. High-quality bearing cups ensure exceptionally smooth running — even under sporty loads.
- Cast-iron cylinder liners — In some cases, the factory fitted vulnerable plasma or Alusil coatings, which tend to develop scoring and compression loss after relatively little mileage. MIK uses only durable cast-iron liners for maximum longevity.
