Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 - 7 days, and for international deliveries within 7 - 10 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

2.0 TDI DSRB — better than factory new

The 2.0 TDI DSRB is installed in numerous VW and Audi vehicles. MIK Motoren not only fully rebuilds this engine — we also specifically eliminate the known factory weak points and extend its lifetime far beyond the standard production level. The result: an engine that lasts longer than new.

MIK upgrades — why this engine lasts longer

The rebuild includes more than just replacing all wear parts, bolts, and seals, as well as machining all mating and running surfaces. In addition, we specifically replace those components that are known to have factory weak points and that limit the engine's lifetime:

Upgrade oil pump — The biggest weak point of this engine is the factory oil pump, which does not provide sufficient oil pressure at certain engine speeds. The result is fault messages, rattling noises, and loss of power — almost inevitably leading to engine failure. Our specially developed upgrade oil pump increases oil pressure across every rpm range and reliably protects the engine from premature wear.
Timing chain instead of timing belt — The factory oil pump timing belt runs in oil and brings two problems with it: it can break and contaminates the engine oil with harmful rubber debris from the very first rotation. We replace it with a proven timing chain — for wear-free drive and permanently clean engine oil.
Reinforced pistons — In performance-tuned or sporty use, the 2.0 TDI DSRB tends to develop piston damage in the ring zone. Oil consumption above 0.5 L/1000 km, loss of compression, and reduced performance are typical symptoms. We rely on modified pistons, improved piston rings, and a specially honed cylinder surface.
High-quality bearing shells — All components are measured precisely, and the bearing clearance is set for lifetime and performance. Combined with high-quality bearing shells, this engine runs especially smoothly — even under sporty loads.
