Delivery times
Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 - 7 days, and for international deliveries within 7 - 10 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.
If you pick up the goods yourself, we will inform you by email about the availability of the goods and the collection options. In this case, no shipping costs will be charged.

Engine Rebuild DGCA (2.0 TDI) — Better Than Factory
The DGCA is the 2.0-litre diesel engine installed in numerous mid-size vehicles from VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda. It delivers solid everyday performance — but it has known factory weaknesses that sooner or later lead to engine failure. MIK Motoren solves exactly these problems: instead of simply rebuilding the engine, the factory weak points are replaced with higher-quality components. The result is an engine that not only runs like new, but lasts significantly longer than the original.
MIK Upgrades — Why This Engine Lasts Longer
The rebuild does not just include replacing all wear parts — it also fixes the design weaknesses built into this engine from the factory:
- Upgraded Oil Pump — The biggest weakness of the DGCA is the standard oil pump: it generates too little oil pressure, which leads to rattling noises, error messages, and eventually engine failure. MIK uses a specially developed high-performance oil pump that reliably maintains oil pressure across all engine speeds.
- Timing Chain Instead of Timing Belt — The standard oil pump timing belt runs in oil and leaves harmful rubber debris in the engine oil from the very first rotation. It is also prone to breaking. MIK replaces it with a low-maintenance timing chain — for permanently clean oil and a wear-free drive.
- Reinforced Pistons — Under load or with sporty driving, the DGCA tends to suffer piston damage in the ring zone. Visible signs: oil consumption above 0.5 l/1,000 km, loss of compression, reduced performance. MIK installs modified pistons with improved piston rings and specially honed cylinder surfaces.
- High-Quality Bearings — All bearing seats are precisely measured, machined, and refitted with high-quality bearing shells. Bearing clearance is set for maximum lifetime and smooth engine running — even for the demanding driver.
