Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 - 7 days, and for international deliveries within 7 - 10 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction).

Engine overhaul / replacement engine 2.5 TFSI CEPA (EA855) reconditioning — better than factory

The 2.5 TFSI with engine code CEPA is the heart of Audi's high-performance models RS3, TT RS and RS Q3. A five-cylinder with a distinctive sound and strong performance — but also with specific weak points under continuous load or sporty driving. MIK Motoren overhauls this engine with targeted upgrades that go far beyond factory standards.

MIK upgrades — why this engine lasts longer

The 2.5 TFSI (EA855) has specific weak spots under heavy load that we know from hands-on experience. Our upgrades eliminate the most common failure patterns of this five-cylinder turbo engine.

Upgraded oil pump — The biggest weak point of this engine is its oil pump, which does not deliver enough oil pressure from the factory and repeatedly leads to failures. Without sufficient oil pressure, warning messages, rattling noises and power loss quickly become noticeable and almost always lead to engine damage. For this reason, we rely on a specially developed oil pump that increases oil pressure across the entire rev range and protects the engine from wear.
Reinforced pistons — When driven with increased power or in a sporty manner, this engine is increasingly prone to piston damage in the ring zone. It is not uncommon to see oil consumption of 0.5L/1000km or more, and compression as well as performance drop significantly. The increased combustion-chamber temperature then places particular strain on the pistons and valves. Modified pistons, improved piston rings and a specially honed cylinder surface provide a remedy. We use only pistons from MAHLE, as no other piston works permanently in the 2.5 TFSI engine.
High-quality bearing shells — During the overhaul, all components are precisely measured and machined. The bearing clearance between the individual components is adjusted for lifetime and performance, ensuring particularly smooth engine running. Combined with high-quality bearing shells, this engine is then also ideally suited for the sporty driver.

The CEPA rebuild at MIK Motoren includes complete disassembly, measurement of all components, replacement of worn parts with OEM-quality parts or MIK upgrades, as well as assembly and dyno testing. All work is carried out in our workshop in the Osnabrück/Bielefeld area.
