Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 - 7 days, and for international deliveries within 7 - 10 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

2.0 TDI DSSA — better than factory new

The 2.0 TDI DSSA is installed in numerous Audi VW T7 vehicles. MIK Motoren not only fully rebuilds this engine — we also specifically eliminate the known factory weaknesses and extend its lifetime far beyond the standard level. The result: an engine that lasts longer than new.

MIK Upgrades — why this engine lasts longer

The rebuild includes not only the replacement of all wear parts, bolts, and seals, as well as the machining of all mating and running surfaces. In addition, we specifically replace those components that are known from the factory to have weaknesses and that limit the engine's lifetime:

Upgraded oil pump — The biggest weakness of this engine is the factory oil pump, which does not deliver sufficient oil pressure in certain RPM ranges. Fault warnings, rattling noises, and loss of power are the result — and almost inevitably lead to engine damage. Our specially developed upgraded oil pump increases oil pressure across every RPM range and reliably protects the engine from premature wear.
Timing chain instead of timing belt — The factory oil pump timing belt runs in oil and brings two problems with it: It can break and contaminates the engine oil with harmful rubber wear from the very first revolution. We replace it with a proven timing chain — for wear-free drive and permanently clean engine oil.
Reinforced pistons — Under higher-performance or sporty use, the 2.0 TDI DSSA tends to suffer piston damage in the ring area. Oil consumption above 0.5 L/1000 km, loss of compression, and drop in power are typical symptoms. We rely on modified pistons, improved piston rings, and a specially honed cylinder surface.
High-quality bearing shells — All components are precisely measured, and the bearing clearance is set for lifetime and performance. Combined with high-quality bearing shells, this engine runs especially smoothly — even under sporty loads.
