Delivery times
Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 - 7 days, and for international deliveries within 7 - 10 days after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.
If you pick up the goods yourself, we will inform you by email about the availability of the goods and the collection options. In this case, no shipping costs will be charged.

Engine overhaul and replacement engine V8 M113 — professional reconditioning for Mercedes: AMG. Depending on the variant, this petrol engine produces 354 to 500 hp (AMG). The V8 M113 in the AMG version is a classic among high-revving naturally aspirated eight-cylinder engines — built for vehicles that demand far more than standard operation. Timing chain wear, bearing wear at high mileage, and piston damage under high load are well-known weak points. MIK rebuilds this engine to a level that Mercedes did not achieve at the factory — with targeted upgrades that significantly extend lifetime under typical AMG use.
MIK upgrades — why this engine lasts longer
The overhaul at MIK Motoren includes not only the replacement of all wear parts, bolts, and seals, as well as the machining of all mating and running surfaces. Components that are known factory weak points and that limit the engine's lifetime are also specifically replaced. The following MIK upgrades drastically extend lifetime:
- Timing chain (reinforced) — Increased timing chain wear is a classic startup issue on the M113: the chain design and guide rail geometry limit lifetime in the original version. MIK uses a modified chain design with revised guide rail geometry — maximum lifetime, even under full load.
- Reinforced pistons — In sporty driving or when tuned for more power, the M113 shows piston damage in the ring zone. The result is oil consumption, loss of compression, and reduced performance. MIK uses modified pistons with reinforced rings and a specially honed cylinder surface.
- High-quality bearing shells — All components are measured precisely and set up for lifetime and performance. The precisely adjusted bearing clearance ensures especially smooth engine running — even for the sporty driver.
